See one of the rarest ecosystems in the state at the 41-acre Cressmoor Preserve. The black-soil prairie contains at least 10 plants and five insects that are state-listed threatened species. Although the trail is a short 3/4 mile, the late summer wildflowers are impressive (as are the butterflies they attract). Catch the trail that leaves from the parking lot to witness the diversity of plant species here.
