About
Embark on a miniature odyssey involving multiple habitats on the 4.5 miles of interconnected trails at Cowles Bog. You can choose a short, moderate hike through wetlands, a longer hike into the forested dunes or a challenging excursion all the way down to the shoreline. Park near the guardhouse at the Dune Acres entrance before setting off on your trek. Don't forget to bring your binoculars as Cowles Bog is excellent for birding, including sightings of Black-crowned Night Herons on the shoreline.
