About
The southern shore of Lake Michigan is a premier paddling destination, with more than 50 miles of a continuous water trail between the Indiana cities of Whiting and Michigan City. Along the way, 12 distinct access points provide paddlers with convenient locations to help plan their paddling trip. Along the trail, paddlers will experience the diverse ecosystems and land use of Northwest Indiana, including white sand beaches, towering dunes, forested bluffs, industrial hubs, bustling ports, and breathtaking sunsets over the Chicago skyline.
