About
Established in 1977, the Art Barn School of Art is a not for profit organization located on 69 acres of beautiful pastoral farmland in Jackson Township. The renovated school is housed in a century-old barn, and the farmhouse is artist residence. Each season inspires painters in oil, acrylic, and watercolor, sculptors, photographers, and art lovers from all over the country. There's something there for every age and level. This event features live artist demos, hands-on classes, live music, food, farm animals, and fun for the whole family. Artisticmediums include paper, paint, wood, pottery, and much more, plus the famous and friendly VonOrthal puppets will appear all weekend long. For a small donation, you can participate in face painting, a fairy garden, children's murals,mini classes, the paint a wild piece of furniture event, and the fabulous prize raffle. Come out to explore, create, and relax!
