Looking for something different to do?

The Indiana Dunes Scavenger Hunt is your guide to discovery and adventure in the Indiana Dunes National Park.

Pick up the Indiana Dunes Scavenger Hunt flyer at the Indiana Dunes Visitor Center or the Paul H. Douglas Center. There are nine amazing places to explore. Ask a ranger at either center for a hint to help you get started.

Then you are ready for your adventure. Walk the trails and read the interpretive signs to answer the questions. Answer eight questions correctly and win a poster featuring the logos of all nine sites and your choice of a drawstring bag or reusable shopping bag. One poster and prize per party or family while supplies last.

Prizes are redeemed at either center. The scavenger hunt is self guided and can be done any time the Indiana Dunes Visitor Center or Paul H. Douglas Center are open.

The Indiana Dunes Visitor Center is located at 1215 N. State Road 49, Porter, IN, and the hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CST daily (closed New Year’s Day). The Paul H. Douglas Center is located at 100 N. Lake St. in Gary, IN and is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. CST Monday through Saturday, and is closed on Sundays and New Year’s Day.
